Welcome to The Holly Hughes Podcast! I'm so glad you found me. The Holly Hughes Podcast is a podcast for creatives, artists, authors, musicians, filmmakers, and creative entrepreneurs seeking authentic conversations, inspiration, and community.

If you are curious about why I started the podcast, it's because people told me to... kind of...actually half-kidding. For years people told I I ought to podcast but I had to discover what I was most passionate about that deserved that time, attention, and commitment.

For over a decade, I worked as an intuitive healer, speaking on the TEDx stage, giving talks, and publishing my essays and books. I didn't want to be another self-help podcast amid so many big names, and seeing some of the biggest celebrities take lesser-known work and claim it as their own made it the self-help space feel overcrowded and frankly unsafe...you see the irony there, right?

I'm an introvert who gets fired up talking one-on-one with others about creativity, travel, BTS, dance, Korea, and spirituality. Others may call those things "The Why," and last year at this time, I was about to leave Seoul, Korea, I was very sad, and I made the commitment to myself that I would go for it. I'd take hold of my passions and my name and shout them both out into the world.

I created a space where creative people—often misunderstood by those who stay in the lines—can truly connect, be inspired, and discuss the unique paths they’ve taken. The Holly Hughes Podcast is about authentic conversation and community for creatives.

I'm thrilled to have talked to sooo many inspiring people that my heart feels full. I hope hearing their stories of being authors, artists, musicians, content creators, and filmmakers of every kind helps you feel connected to the world around you and inspires you to try something new, enjoy a moment or two, and feel like you've got a friend.
